Acceptable Use Policy
Content standards, prohibited categories, reporting, and moderation for GetAIPhotoEditor AI image editing.
Last updated: 2026-11-05
GetAIPhotoEditor ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI-powered photo editing and image generation tools. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all prompts, uploads, edits, and outputs created through the Platform. All users must comply with this Policy. It complements our Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This Policy covers:
- Images generated or edited with our tools (AI Photo Editor, Object Remover, Background Changer, Photo Enhancer, and related features)
- User prompts and instructions
- Photos and other media you upload
- Content you download, share, or republish from the Platform
2. Content Standards and Prohibited Categories
The Platform prohibits generating, uploading for the purpose of generating, or distributing content in any of the following six categories:
- Sexual / NSFW content — pornography, explicit sexual content, sexualized imagery, or nudity intended for erotic purposes.
- Violence / gore — graphic violence, gore, torture, or content that glorifies severe physical harm.
- Hate speech — content that attacks, demeans, or incites hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics (such as race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or disability).
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM) — any sexual, exploitative, or abusive content involving minors (anyone under 18), including fictional depictions. This is a zero-tolerance category.
- Deepfakes / impersonation — non-consensual use of someone’s likeness or voice; face swaps, nudification, intimate-scene compositing, or fabricated statements or actions attributed to a real person, whether or not that person consents.
- Copyright / trademark infringement — content that copies or closely imitates copyrighted works, trademarks, logos, or brand assets without authorization.
2.1 Absolutely prohibited — zero tolerance
We will take immediate action and may report to authorities when we detect:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors
- Content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or mass violence
- Deepfakes of real individuals as described above
- Clear attempts to produce illegal weapons instructions or other criminal facilitation
2.2 Source of uploaded material
You may only upload photos you own or that you have explicit permission to use from the people depicted. Uploading another person’s photos without their consent is prohibited. Permission to upload does not authorize generating deepfake or non-consensual likeness content prohibited under this Policy.
2.3 Other prohibited conduct
- Jailbreak or bypass prompts intended to evade safety measures
- Bulk generation of spam or deceptive commercial imagery
- Passing AI-edited or AI-generated images off as unaltered photographs when that would deceive others in a harmful way
- Attempting to reverse-engineer or overload the service
3. Underlying AI models
Photo editing and generation on GetAIPhotoEditor currently use Nano Banana (Google Gemini image model), accessed via Replicate or fal.ai depending on configuration (google/nano-banana-2.1 / google/nano-banana-2.1/edit). We may update the model over time; material changes will be reflected on this page and in the editor UI.
4. Content moderation
We operate a layered moderation process:
- Provider / model safety filters — prompts and outputs pass through the underlying model provider’s safety systems (Google Gemini / Nano Banana safety controls on Replicate or fal.ai).
- Automated refusal — requests that clearly match prohibited categories may be refused by the model or provider without completing a generation.
- Human review — reports submitted by users are reviewed manually by our trust & safety contacts. Critical cases (child safety, terrorism, clear illegal content) are prioritized.
- Account action — confirmed violations may result in content removal, credit forfeiture, account suspension, or permanent ban, and may be reported to law enforcement where required.
We do not guarantee that every prohibited request will be blocked automatically. Users remain responsible for their prompts, uploads, and use of outputs.
Severity guidance
| Level | Examples | Typical action | | -------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ | | Critical | CSAM, terrorism facilitation | Immediate block / ban; may report to authorities | | High | Severe violence/gore, non-consensual deepfakes, hate targeting | Remove content; suspend account | | Medium | NSFW, IP infringement, general policy breaches | Warning and/or removal; repeat offenses escalate | | Low | Borderline or first-time minor issues | Warning; edit or re-prompt required |
5. User reporting
When to report
- Generated or uploaded content that violates this Policy
- Non-consensual likeness / deepfake misuse of your image or someone else’s
- Suspected child-safety or other critical illegal content
- Copyright or trademark infringement involving your rights
How to report
Email support@getaiphotoeditor.com with:
- The URL or creation ID (if available) of the content
- A short description of the violation
- Screenshots or other evidence when helpful
- Your contact email for follow-up
For urgent child-safety or imminent-harm reports, put URGENT in the subject line.
Reporting principles
- Reporter identity is kept confidential to the extent permitted by law
- Reports are reviewed independently and in good faith
- Malicious or knowingly false reports may lead to account action
6. Response timelines
| Violation type | Initial response | Target resolution | | -------------- | ---------------------- | ----------------------- | | Critical | Within 24 hours | Within 48 hours | | High | Within 1 business day | Within 3 business days | | Medium | Within 3 business days | Within 7 business days | | Low | Within 5 business days | Within 15 business days |
If we need more time, we will acknowledge the report and explain the delay when we have a contact address.
7. Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, we may:
- Refuse or delete the generation
- Warn the account
- Suspend or permanently terminate the account
- Forfeit unused credits related to abusive use
- Preserve evidence and notify authorities when legally required
8. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was wrong, email support@getaiphotoeditor.com with the subject Appeal, your account email, and why you believe the action was incorrect. We aim to respond within 7 business days.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy as laws, models, or product features change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
